Check-in Instructions | Dinner is served (buffet style) at the camp at 19:00 each evening and costs 20 USD per person. If you would like dinner kept for you, please book in advance and advise of any special dietary requirements when booking. Our kitchen closes at 21:00 for orders from the lunch menu (sandwiches, burgers, soup, samosas etc). Our bar serves a wide range of drinks and some light snacks like crisps and peanuts – it is open until midnight. Our reception hours are 07:00 to 24:00. If you plan to arrive at the camp outside of these hours, you must advise us in advance so that we can keep your room and ensure there is someone available to check you in. If you are planning to arrive at the camp before 06:00, you must book a room/bed for the night before. Accommodation, transfers, camp extras, and other travel services can be paid for with cash(Kenyan Shillings, Euro, British Pounds, US Dollars), credit or debit card (attracts a 3% bank surcharge), or bank transfer prior to arrival. If you plan to use your credit or debit card here in Africa, don’t forget to advise your bank before you leave home. If you are bringing US Dollars, ensure that the‘series date’ printed on them is 2008 or newer (notes printed in the 2006s are not accepted in East Africa – even by banks). We have a travel office at the camp which can assist with booking day tours, safaris, trekking, beach accommodation, bus and train tickets and much more. Getting There | If you would like to book an airport pick up to bring you to our camp, this will cost 30 USD (for a sedan car) from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). To arrange this please email us with your flight number and arrival time. If you plan to make your own way to our camp, please advise us of your expected arrival time. Please ensure that you have directions handy for your driver to our camp in Langata. Also ensure that they do not take you to our old camp which is now closed on Kibera Road. Address: 151 Mokoyeti Road West (off Langata Road), Langata, Nairobi, Kenya. Directions: From the city/JKIA come up Langata Road, past the Bomas of Kenya and Galleria Shopping Centre. One kilometre past Galleria on your left is a Kenol Petrol Station – directly opposite on the right is Mokoyeti Road West. Turn up here and continue for 1.6 kilometres. Our gate is on the left just after the Mucherus Golf Land, number 151. |
