The Abraham Lincoln Motel is a family owner operated motel renowned for country hospitality and personalised service.
We have fifteen spacious ground floor units situated on large grounds set amongst well maintained lawns and rose gardens which are a highlight when all out in flower.
Officially rated at a high 3 ½ star quality by AAA Tourism the Abraham Motel was recently ranked third of twenty nine motels reviewed in Tamworth on Trip Advisor.

The units are set well back off the road and offer private and secure parking directly in front of your room. We also offer guests a safe and secure parking area for trailers, boats and small trucks on the lower level of the motel.

Getting There	The Abraham Lincoln Motel is conveniently located on the Armidale road side of Tamworth diagonally opposite the Quality Powerhouse Hotel and right next door to the Quest Apartments. If coming from the Sydney road side simply follow the BRISBANE/ARMIDALE highway signs, which will bring you across Scott Road and directly onto the Armidale road and we are located on the right hand side a block and half down from the Murray street roundabout. Just set your GPS to 343 Armidale Road or 343 New England Highway East Tamworth (Depending on your GPS System). The motel is located just five minutes drive by taxi from the Tamworth Railway Station or just fifteen minutes drive from the Tamworth Regional Airport.
Parking	All vehicle parking is free, secure and on-site off the Main Highway. Parking is nose first in front of all rooms in either the front or back row of units, No Reverse Parking is allowed due to safety factors. A large secure and safe parking area is available adjacent to the lower row of units for trailers, boats and small trucks and buses.
Things To Do	There are plenty of things to see and do around the Tamworth region with the famous Country Music Festival staged every January, the Golden Guitar Statue and Visitors Centre, Equine and Livestock Centre, Endeavour Marsupial Park, Power-House Museum, Historic Calala Cottage, numerous Potteries and Galleries, Vineyards, Cinema’s, Ten Pin Bowling , two excellent Golf Courses or just take a leisurely drive up to the Oxley Lookout where you get great views of the entire Tamworth region. If you have a little more time take a leisurely and picturesque drive up to the old gold mining town of Nundle.
