| Getting There | From Melbourne. Take the Ballarat city centre exit, travel through the 1st set of traffic lights and turn left at the next corner Stawell St Sth. Motel is 650m on the left. From Adelaide. Remain on the Adelaide – Melbourne freeway until you see the off ramp to Daylesford – Brown Hill. Turn left off the highway then right into Water St ( Brown Hill) follow that to Victoria ST( traffic lights) Turn right into Victoria St then turn left onto Stawell St Sth. Motel is 650m on the left. From Geelong. Turn right at the Buniyong. Follow that road until you see the right turn into Eureka St, about 20km’s. Driving 2km’s along Eureka St turn right into Stawell St Sth just past the Eureka Flag . From Hamilton. Go to Ballarat Main St ( Sturt St) then follow that towards Melbourne, road becomes Victoria St at MacDonald's. Turn right into Stawell St Sth. Motel is 650m on the left. From Bendigo As for Adelaide from the Daylesford off ramp if traveling through Creswick or if through Dean as from Water St in Adelaide directions. |
| Parking | We have private parking, ample street parking and lawn for caravans or trucks. Please note that we have a height limit of 2.5m at the Entry. All visitors’ cars must be parked outside of motel grounds. Two apartments provide wheelchair friendly accommodation. |
| Things To Do | A wide variety of attractions are in great Ballarat. Just go across the road and visit the Museum of Eureka Centre Ballarat; The lovely Ballarat Wildlife Park is in walking distance; A visit to Sovereign Hill and the Gold Museum is a must, allow plenty of time to see this wonderful living museum, set in the 1850's recreating the exciting gold rush period. Linger in the beautiful Victorian architecture that was built in the 1860's when Ballarat was the richest city in the world; Take in a light and sound show at night showing the Blood on the Southern Cross, the story of the Eureka rebellion; And many others to be mentioned i.e. Bird World and Kryal Castle. Ballarat also hosts the Australian Cycling championships, the popular Begonia festival, a HUGE swap meet in February and the largest country Antique Fair in Australia. It is ideally based for touring the old gold mining towns. |

| Terms and Conditions | This motel has a zero tolerance against abusive, threatening behavior towards our staff and customers. This includes shouting, swearing, aggression, threats or any other inappropriate behaviors. Anyone against this policy will be immediately asked to leave the property. Credit card numbers are kept for Security purposes and full payment is payable upon arrival. SHOULD YOUR CREDIT CARD EXPIRE BEFORE YOUR BOOKING DATE THE FIRST NIGHT WILL BE TAKEN FROM THE CARD TO SECURE THE BOOKING. Please note that if more people stay in the room than the number on your booking reservation without notifying us, you will be charged at $50.00 extra per person. One car park is allocated per room, any additional cars must be parked outside the property, this also applies to visitors you may have. Please note while your infants are more than welcome, they must be registered at the office upon booking or arrival for safety reasons so that we are aware that they are onsite in case of an emergency. Smoking is not permitted in our rooms and pets are not allowed on the property. If smoking is found or pets are brought in the room, you will be charged at $100 per room. Please refrain from reverse parking in the car park to stop carbon fumes entering rooms. Please note that we have a strict no noise policy after 9pm, we will only issue one warning about noise and after that warning you will be asked to leave the property. All visitors must have left by this time or they will be added to your account as additional guests for the night. All room damages are the responsibility of the person booking the room. Early and late checkout fees may apply if prior arrangements are not made. Check-out time is 10 am. Please turn off all lights, air-conditioner, heater, electrical blankets and leave the key on the table or drop in the return box at reception. If the key is lost, a copy fee $20 will be charged. |
