About UsThe Powerhouse Motel in Kempsey has 21 beautifully appointed rooms. Our accommodation is chain rated at three and a half and all units are ground floor for easy access. Kempsey Powerhouse Motel is conveniently located on the Macleay Valley Way (just 500 metres from the bypass entry)and are well set back from the road to assure you get a peaceful nights sleep. Our Motel is set on 5 acres of bushland with native birds and resident kangaroos. Located about halfway between Sydney and Brisbane; the Powerhouse Motel is a perfect location to relax and take a break. Most units have queen size beds, some with private spa, reverse cycle air-conditioning, tea/coffee making, toaster, microwave ,refrigerator, phones, cutlery & crokery, hair dryer, smart TV's. We have a large inground saltwater swimming pool, BBQ area, and guest laundry. There is ample parking for trucks, trailers and coaches. Our Facilities

| Getting There | We are situated 4.5Klms south of Kempsey on the Macleay Valley Way. The Kempsey Bypass has only been open since March 2013 and some GPS are yet to be updated with the new roadway. If you are coming from the South, take the Kempsey exit, drive thru the roundabout and you will find us 1km on the right from the roundabout. If you are coming from the North, take the second Kempsey exit (also shows service centre) go over the overpass and come back towards Kempsey. You will find us on the right 1km from the roundabout. If you are expecting to arrive after 10pm, please call to arrange late access. |
| Parking | Parking is available in front of your room. Though not designated, you will not need to park too far away if your car can go under the 2.4M clearance. Alternate parking is always available for high vehicles. |
| Things To Do | With some great camping areas and one of the best long board beaches on the east coast, you will soon find something to do. South West Rocks and Crescent Head are just two of many beaches for swimming. The Slim Dusty Centre is open for all his fans to enjoy or you can visit some of Slims iconic places like 'the pub with no beer'. Fishing, camping, swimming and sight seeing, what more would you want. |
| Terms and Conditions | The rooms are maintained at a very high standard, but we do need our guests to let us know if anything is deficient. We want you to be comfortable during your stay, so let us know if you are in need of anything. All rooms are non smoking and guests are provided with alternate smoking areas outside. If you insist on smoking inside you will be charged extra for laundering and deodourising the room. Pets: - some rooms are pet friendly with conditions must book direct with property - All service animals are welcome Any excessive dirt or damage in the rooms will incur and extra cleaning fee |
