Getting There | If you are traveling west towards Charleville along the Warrego Highway we are the third motel on your right, we take up the whole block and have a large Roma Motel sign on the fence. If traveling east towards Brisbane along the Warrego Highway we are on your left hand side just passed the Caltex Services Station. A handy tip - don't type our postal address into your Navman as it will send you to the other side of town try 11 Warrego h'way Roma instead. |

Things To Do | There are many things to see and do while in Roma and the surrounding district. You could visit us in March for the Picnic Races, Easter in the Country over the holidays or The Roma Cup Race Meet in November. While here you could visit some or all of the many attractions we have to offer. From the Roma Saleyards which are the largest cattle selling centre in Australia, The Big Rig centre which offers a self-guided walk or a stunning light and sound night show each night, Windows of St Paul's Church displays 50 of the most amazing and stunning leadlight and stained glass windows, The Avenue of Heroes which features 140 bottle tree that tributes the fallen soldiers form the Roma District and The Roma Express miniature train ride that takes you on a 1.4km picturesque ride along the banks of the Bungil Creek. Golf, lawn bowls and clay target shooting clubs have open competitions to visitors 2 to 3 times a week.There is so much to see and do in the District you will need to stay for a few days to see them all. |
