| Check-in Instructions | Check-in is between 2.00 pm and 5.00 pm If you plan on arriving much earlier or later, please give us a call and let us know. We do our best to meet requests for early check-ins, but cannot guarantee your cabin will be ready before 2.00 pm. Instructions for self-check-in will be left at Reception for arrivals after 5.00 pm. Check-out time 10.00 am Each cabin is fully self-contained so you can bring your own food and do your own cooking. There is only one small grocery shop in the area, so if you are planning to self-cater we recommend you stock up on fresh food before you arrive. There are restaurants at the Cradle Mountain Hotel, Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village and Cradle Mountain Lodge, all within a few minutes drive from Highlanders, and a Cafe at the Visitor Centre. Whilst we do not have a restaurant, we have a good selection of wine and beer at reasonable prices. Our water comes from an underground aquifer and the drinking quality is excellent. Limited free WIFI is available, but we are in a remote location and both TV and WiFi reception can be poor. WIFI and mobile phone service is provided only through Telstra and Optus. There is no Vodafone reception in the area. Each cottage has a small selection of DVDs for your viewing pleasure and you are also welcome to bring your own. Check out time is 10.00 am |

| Getting There | Cradle Mountain Highlanders is located on Cradle Mountain Road at the Northern entrance to the Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park. Our cabins are private and secluded and cannot be seen from the road. To find us, follow the signs to the Cradle Mountain National Park Visitor Centre, continue south along Cradle Mountain Road for about 200 metres and keep a look out on your right for our hand-carved Highlanders Cottages sign. Turn right into our driveway and continue for about 150 metres where you will find Reception. Please allow at least 4.5 hours to drive to Cradle Mountain from Hobart, 2.5 hours from Launceston, 2.5 hours from Strahan and 1.25 hours from Devonport. |

| Terms and Conditions | - Full Payment will be processed 7 days prior to Arrival. -We will not allow occupancy if you are intoxicated or acting in an unruly manner. - You will be required to vacate the premises if you are deemed disorderly or disruptive to other guests. - Occupancy of cabins is as per bedding configuration only. - Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to stay in the cabins or surrounds without parents' supervision. - Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to occupy a cabin without adult supervision. - No pets allowed (assistance dogs an exception) - You agree that we may charge your credit card up to $150 after your departure for loss or malicious damage to our property, extra guests not declared at the time of booking, cabins left in an excessively dirty state or with unwashed dishes or cooking utensils, or for smoking or vaping inside the cabin. |
