Our motel is located approximately 7 minutes’ drive from the airport and 10 minutes until you could have found a part in the City of Launceston.

1. The Reception is open Monday - Saturday from 8am - 5pm and on Public Holidays and Sundays from 8am - 5pm ONLY
If you arrive after those hours we will send the KEY SAFE PIN to your mobile and email you provided after payment is confirmed, so it is a good idea to have access to either or both when you arrive. The key safe is LOCATED at the front doors to reception.

2. Taxi number is 131 008 and they always arrive. Let them know your room number if you are getting picked up from the motel instead of your name and they will go directly to you. AIRPORT – there are always taxis available for arriving travellers at Launceston Airport and cost $25.00 or less

3. Most of our rooms are opened by using the white card you will be find inside the KEY SAFE attached to a name card with your room number displayed. Touch your white card it to the black panel above your door handle wait for one second, pull the door handle down and head on in. Some rooms open with a silver key, I'm sure you know how to do that mostly turn counter clockwise. Keep going.

4. The night team member is contactable on 0477 075 500 should you have an emergency or are unable to access you room.

If you arrive outside these times you will find all relevent information in the text message we send to the mobile phone number on your reservation. Please, ensure that your mobile number is correct at the time of booking.

Getting There	From Launceston Airport turn right. Follow this road a short distance to the large roundabout. Take the exit to Kings Meadows C402. The Abel Tasman is a further 7km along Hobart Road on the right hand side, next to the BP service station.
Parking	Vehicle parking at the door of each room at no cost, free parking. No struggling with the suitcases.

Terms and Conditions	The Manager of The Abel Tasman Motel Launceston, reserve the right to refuse entry to any person. A STRICT no party policy applies at all times of the year. Should you ignore this rule you will be asked to leave the property. A valid credit card is required for all reservations and this card will be used to process the payment for the full amount of the reserved accommodation on the morning of arrival.
