About Us

Ocean Suites Motel is a family-owned and operated property consisting of one-bedroom, apartment-like suites.

Smoking/vaping of any substance is prohibited in all the suites. Pets are not allowed in the suites or on the property (including in a vehicle). A $200 fine will be imposed for violations or if the room must be taken out of service due to smoke/marijuana odor (regardless of whether it is smoked or stored in the suite or carried in on your person). You may be asked to leave and no refund will be issued.

Standard suites have a full kitchen (oven/stove, microwave, full-size refrigerator, cookware, dishes and utensils), a living room with a recliner and private bedroom with a queen bed. Guests may choose from EITHER a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room OR a second queen bed instead of the sofa. The living room and bedroom offer cable programming on flat panel televisions. The living room offers free music and movie streaming using the leading streaming services. All suites offer free Wi-Fi.

For guests with special needs, we offer a barrier-free, ADA-compliant suite. This suite includes a fully-stocked kitchen, a queen bed in the bedroom and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room. There is flat panel television in the living room with cable programming, free movie and music streaming and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom has a low-profile tub, grab rails and a raised toilet. This room is smaller than our standard room.

OUR SUITES DO NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom and one in the living room.

Check-in Instructions	Payment in full is required before issuing room keys. CREDIT CARDS: Upon check-in guests will be asked for their credit card and driver's license. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover only. We do not accept American Express, checks or debit- only cards. The person whose credit card is being used MUST be present at check in. A Credit Card Authorization will be required prior to the check-in date if you are paying for another person's room but will not be present at the time of check. CASH: If paying cash, a $200 charge will be placed on your credit card at check in. This will be refunded/voided after your room has been cleaned and checked.

Getting There	If you are heading South on 101, take a right at the stop light on Benham Lane (look for Mattie's Pancake House). The road will slope down and, at the bottom, curve right. Follow the curve. We are a two-story, blue building on the right side of the road. Look for "Free Netflix" on our sign. Parking	Parking is available for our guests. All vehicles must be registered with the front desk. **Boat and trailer parking is limited and cannot be guaranteed. Please have alternate plans available.*
Things To Do	We are just a five minute walk to Sporthaven Beach. Restaurants, the Port of Brookings-Harbor and fishing are within walking distance. Like to hike? Want to visit the redwoods or go tide-pooling? All of these activities can be reached in as little as 10 minutes by car.
Terms and Conditions	Rates quoted are for two people 12 years of age or older. Add $5 per night for each additional person 12 or older. Smoking/vaping of any substance is prohibited in the suite. If your suite must be taken out of service due to marijuana/smoke odor (regardless of whether the odor is from smoking or storing it in the room or carrying it in on your person) a $200 fee will be charged and you will be asked to leave. No refund will be given. OREGON'S MARIJUANA LAW - It is still ILLEGAL to smoke marijuana (for medical, recreational or any reason) OUTSIDE your suite, in your vehicle or ANYWHERE on Ocean Suites Property. Guests who violate the law will be asked to leave immediately - no refund will be given. PETS Ocean Suites Motel has a strict no-pet policy. We do not allow pets (whether yours or your visitors) in the suite on the property (including in a vehicle) at any time. Violators will have a fine of $200 charged immediately to their account. Additionally, you may be asked to leave and no refund will be issued. PAYMENT TERMS Payment must be received prior to issuance of room keys. A credit card and driver's license must be presented upon check-in. A credit card authorization is required if the person paying will not be present at check in. CREDIT CARDS: Rooms held using American Express will not be honored. Visa, Mastercard and Discover are the ONLY credit cards accepted. If paying cash, $200 charge will be made on your credit card at check in. This will be returned after your room has been cleaned and inspected to ensure it is in good order. A Credit Card Authorization will be required if you are paying for someone else's room and you will not be present at check in to present your driver's licence and credit card and sign paperwork. Guests receiving the extended rate who shorten their stay will be charged the weekly rate for all nights (provided they stay a minimum of 7 nights). If the stay is shortened to less than 7 nights, the standard rate will apply to all nights. Check out is 11:00 a.m. Daily suite rate applies for late check out. We do not accept checks of any kind. Theft or destruction of property: Cost of replacement. Smoking/vaping/marijuana/pet violation fine: $200.00 HOUSEKEEPING Our housekeeping team is available from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily. They will provide fresh towels, replenish consumables (paper products, coffee, shampoo, soap) and remove trash daily. Stays up to 2 weeks: The room will be cleaned every 4th day. Please have your dishes done and personal belongings up off the floor so staff can clean. (Time starts counting the day AFTER check in.) Stays longer than 2 weeks: Your room will be cleaned once a week and sheets will be changed. Please have your dishes done and personal belongings up off the floor so staff can clean. COURTESY POLICY At Ocean Suites Motel we are more than ‘just a place to stay.’ You are our guests and we want you to enjoy your stay. We have designed a list of courtesies to keep our suites a quiet, comfortable ‘home away from home.’ All guests and their vehicles must be registered at the front desk. No loud noise or loud music is allowed after 10 p.m. Alcohol is not allowed outside guest suites. Violation or suspected violation of any state or federal laws anywhere on the property will be reported to the authorities. Guests who violate these courtesies will be asked to leave immediately. No Refunds! No smoking/vaping of any substances in the suite. A $200 violation charge will charged immediately. No burning of candles or incense in rooms. Pets are not allowed in the suites or anywhere on the property including a vehicle. A $200 violation charge will be charged immediately. No cooking of crab or storing of crab, fish or fish bait in the refrigerator/freezer. WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE Wireless service is available throughout the motel. Notice to Guests: This property is privately owned. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
