Getting There | From the south, we are approximately five miles into town travelling north on highway 20. One mile past the Buffalo River Bridge and the Targhee Ranger Station you will turn east or right onto Phillips Loop road. History Phillips Lodge is located one-half mile down Phillips Loop. From the north, Follow highway 20 into the heart of Island Park. Turn left or east, onto Phillips Loop road just past Elk Creek Station, a Phillips 66 gas station and convenience store. The Historic Phillips lodge is located one-quarter mile down Phillips Loop road. |

Things To Do | Summer and spring attractions near Island Park : Fly Fishing: Fly fish at the Henry's Fork of the Snake River, Henry's Lake and the Buffalo River. Yellowstone National Park: Come Visit Yellowstone National Park. America's first National Park and see the famous Old Faithful geyser and Silver Cord Waterfall for yourself. Big Springs: Big Springs is where is all begins here in Island Park. The Johnny Sack Cabin, the huge fish and crystal clear water all add up to make the headwaters of the Snake River a sight to see. Off Road Adventures: Countless trails though out Island Park make it ideal for ATV's and hiking. Ghost Towns: Virginia City and Nevada City are historic towns worth seeing. Fall and winter attractions near Island Park: Hunting: With so much wildlife all around, Island Park and the surrounding area is perfect for the hunting season. Snowmobiling: Enjoy snowmobiling over 1000 miles of backwoods trails in the Targhee National Forest and great scenic views from the top of Two Top Mountain. Also Yellowstone National Park offers limited access to snowmobile riders. Winter Trails: Snowshoeing and cross country skiing has become very popular in the area. Ski the duel use trails or the dedicated trails at Harriman State Park. Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding: You'll find excellent fresh powder for snow boarding and downhill skiing at Grand Targhee Mountain Resort or Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. |
Terms and Conditions | Three night stay minimum. Quiet time: Quiet time is effective between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. This quiet time includes hot tub activities. Parking: Only one vehicle per cabin site is allowed. All other vehicles must be parked in the overflow parking areas. Any vehicles that are parked illegally will be ticketed and/or towed at owner's expense. Trailer parking: All trailers , including boat, ATV, snowmobile, and utility trailers, must be parked in the designated area. No trailers are allowed beyond the trailer parking areas or on resort maintained roads. No motor homes or camper trailers are allowed on the resort. Smoking policy: Smoking inside the cabins is not permitted. If you choose to smoke outside of the cabin please request a can for your cigarettes. Please put all butts in the disposal can. Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed on the resort. Pets are not allowed to be kept in vehicles or kennels while on the resort in any situation. |
