| Terms and Conditions | One Day Rentals for Fishing Boats, Patio Boats, Ski Boats, and Wave Runners must be returned the same day as check in by 5pm in the Summer Season and 4pm during all other seasons. Houseboats - 45 days cancellation Notice. YOUR ADVANCE DEPOSIT AND ADVANCE PAYMENT FOR A TRIP IS NON-REFUNDABLE – EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED REASONS SET FORTH BELOW. 1. You may receive a full refund of your deposit and/or advance payment for a trip ONLY if you deliver a written cancellation notice to us 45 days or more before the departure date for your houseboat trip. NOTE: NO REFUND if you deliver the written notice of cancellation at any time that is 44 days or fewer days before the departure date. 2. You may purchase trip insurance for up to the full price of your trip. IF you purchased trip insurance and you do not take your trip for ANY reason (see below for examples of reasons), then we will refund to you up to $100.00 to reimburse you for a portion of the actual cost you paid to buy trip insurance; provided you deliver to us reasonable evidence of the amount you paid for the trip insurance. If you do NOT purchase trip insurance, then you are taking the risk that you will be unable to take your trip and that you will receive NO REFUND from us, if your trip does not occur for any reason (see below for examples of reasons). NOTE: Bridge Bay encourages all of its guests to purchase trip insurance. Some Examples of the reasons your trip may not occur are listed below. These are only examples and do not include every possible circumstance that may cause you to be unable to take your houseboat or small boat trip from Bridge Bay at Shasta Lake. • You or someone on your trip is too ill to travel • Your transportation (airline, car, bus) to Shasta Lake is cancelled or is delayed beyond the start date of your scheduled trip • There is an accident or disaster on the Highway 5 Freeway that closes this freeway and would then prevent all vehicular access to Bridge Bay at Shasta Lake • There is a natural disaster (such as wildfire or high winds) at or near Shasta Lake that prevents you from reaching Shasta Lake or Bridge Bay at Shasta Lake • There is a natural disaster (such as wildfire or high winds) that affects Shasta Lake and makes it dangerous or impossible to take a vessel out onto Shasta Lake • There is a government order from the Forest Service or other agency that requires Bridge Bay at Shasta Lake to shut down its operations during the period of your scheduled trip • There is a pandemic or similar condition that makes it too dangerous to travel to Bridge Bay at Shasta Lake or to use the houseboat or small boat on Shasta Lake. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any cancellations made within the cancellation period will forfeit all down payments and deposits and will not be refunded. |
