Begonia City Motor Inn maintains a Star Ratings Australia officially accredited 3.5 star rating. situated in a quiet suburban location, well within a 5-7 minute drive from the Ballarat CBD and the areas major attractions such as Sovereign Hill.

Our spacious, well-appointed rooms are all located at ground level and have car parking spaces directly in front. Room configurations include Queen Double & Twin, Spa suites, Family rooms and 2 Bedroom Self-contained apartments. All rooms have queen beds, 81cm flat-screen televisions, Foxtel Platinum satellite television with over 100 channels as well as all digital free-to-air channels, free high speed wireless broadband with three access points in each room, DVD players (and free movies), electric blankets, tea/coffee facilities, microwave, iron and ironing board, toaster, hair dryer and reverse cycle air conditioning.

Our property features an in-ground swimming pool, BBQ facilities, and spacious garden areas. Check-in Instructions	Reception is open from 7 am to 9 pm daily except Christmas Day where alternate arrangements will be made. At times reception is opened later however guests who are planning to arrive later than 9 pm will need to contact reception prior to closing so that suitable arrangements can be made to obtain access to rooms after hours.

Getting There	Begonia City Motor Inn is in the southern suburb of Sebastopol in historic Ballarat. Located at 244 Albert Street (Midland Highway - A300) which continues on to Geelong. If coming from Melbourne take the first exit off the Western Freeway, drive through the Ballarat CBD and turn left at Doveton Street (sign for Hamilton and Geelong). Follow Doveton Street (which becomes Skipton Street and then Albert Street), in all just over 5 kiometres. The motel is on the right, just after the Sebastopol Shopping Centre, Bowling Club and Coles Supermarket. If coming from Adelaide take either the Old Western Highway exit, along the Avenue of Honour and into the CBD, and then turn right at Doveton Street (A300). Alternatively stay on the freeway and take the Midland Highway (A300 exit and head south into Ballarat, across Sturt Street and onto Doveton Street). Doveton Street becomes Skipton Street and then Albert Street and we are number 244 (just under five kilometres from Sturt Street). If coming along the Glenelg Highway from the Hamilton in the West turn right at the roundabout on Albert Street (head to Geelong) and we are just after the next roundabout. If coming from Geelong or Colac the motel is located on the left hand side of Albert Street (the Midland Highway) not far after the road becomes divided.
Parking	Parking for one vehicle is available directly in front of each unit. There are additional spare car parks available, the availablity of which are dependent upon demand. In addition there is lawn area to park vehicles with trailers, boats and the like. There is also ample street parking at the front and rear of the motel for larger vehicles.
Things To Do	The historic city of Ballarat has a wealth of activities and things to do and see. From expoloring its rich history, buildings, statues and parklands through to spending a day or evening at Sovereign Hill or learning about Australia's rebellion at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka. Alternatively there is plenty on offer if retail therapy is more to your liking, or theatre, the beauty of the Botanic Gardens, Prime Ministers Walk, Ex-Prisoners of War Museum or Lake Wendouree. The Art Gallary of Ballarat houses some of Australia's finest works of art, or there is the Gold Museum, local wineries, Kryal Castle or Ballarat Wildlife Park.
Business Facilities	We do not have a business centre, however we are more than happy to provide guests with facsimile and printing facilities. All rooms have free WiFi internet and areas to work. Guests are more than welcome to have incoming faxs sent to us on their behalf.
Terms and Conditions	Begonia City Motor Inn policy is not to charge guests for accommodation until such time as they have checked-in or are departing. The exception is bookings through third party websites or booking agents where funds are sought at the time of reservation. No reimbursements will be issued for early departure of single night bookings and it will be at the motels discretion based on demand and length of reservation whether such will apply for reservations of a longer duration. Accommodation is provided conditional upon guests abiding by the range of terms and conditions. These conditions include provisions to ensure full payment of costs incurred should a breach of those terms and conditions particulalry focussed on the respect provided to other guests, the facilities and management.
