About Us

The Mountain View Hotel is a boutique gastro-pub situated in
Whitfield - the heart of North East Victoria's King Valley wine region.
Set amongst beautiful established gardens, and surrounded by
Jessie's Creek, the Mountain View offers a unique experience through
the warm professionalism of its staff and its modern, European
influenced menu.

The Hotel accommodation is situated adjacent to the main building and consists of four fully refurbished units. Three of the units are one bedroom, and we also have a two bedroom unit. Each unit contains a King Size bed (the two bedroom unit has a queen bed in the second room), reverse cycle air conditioning, LCD TV, new bathroom, small fridge, well stocked mini bar and tea & coffee facilities. Accommodation is available every day of the week.

Getting There	If you are driving from the Hume highway the best exit is Wangaratta. Once you get to Wangaratta please follow the direction for King Valley wine region. The Mountain view hotel is situated about 50Km south of the town of Wangaratta. If you wish to drive through the hinterland, Whitfield is 2 hours driving after the Yarra Valley out of Melbourne. Once you arrive in Mansfield please follow the Whitfield direction.
Parking	A large car park is available right in front of the building and is suitable for any size vehicle.
Things To Do	Visiting Wineries, the Paradise Falls, Lake William Hovell, Powers look out, fishing or swimming into the King River.
